Weser blocks are carefully designed to interlock for easier laying without jointing. Their hollow core must be filled with concrete.

1
Lay the blocks on frost-protected foundations, about 40cm deep for the pillars and 25cm deep for the walls, and 10cm wider than the blocks.
2
Pour the foundations and place four 8 or 10mm diameter steel rods to stabilize the pillars.
3
Once the foundation has hardened, lay the first block and set level.
Lay the following blocks. Stagger the vertical joints.

With Chambord pillar, it is possible to make warrow joints between elements with a white fine mortar.
4
Before filling, the elements must be internally lined with polystyrene or similar to act as a soft medium and to prevent the effect of differences of dilatation.
5
Fill with a lean concrete mix in 75cm (one bucketful of cement for five bucketfuls of sand and gravel). Tamp with a stick. Wait for a few hours between layers.
