Pierced screen walling needs to be strengthened using reinforced concrete ties and studs, or to be set into masonry. The distance between studs depends on the height of the screen walling. The surface area of each separate panel must not exceed 4 sq. m, and the height must not be more than 2 m (except in the case of walling set into masonry).
