Chinon paving must be glued on a concrete slab using Weser-Mix CO adhesive mortar. On an existing concrete slab, clean the surface before laying. For a new concrete slab, pour a concrete screed 8 to 12cm thick with 1:50 slope to evacuate rainwater in the desired direction.
When the concrete slab is dry, apply adhesive mortar with a notched trowel and press the paving leaving 10mm joints between strips.
Cut some cobbles to stagger the joints. 24 hours after the paving have been fixed, fill the joints with polymeric sand or with a 4:1 mortar mixture. This mixture of sands and ciment is mixed dry and swept with a soft brush into the joints. Then sprinkle the area with a fine spray to dampen the mixture within the joints.
